John C. Stubbs | President

John Stubbs started building homes while still in high school more than 25 years ago. He worked with a small contractor, spending his after school time and summers on the job. While attending the University of Utah, he joined Ivory Homes and quickly rose through the ranks to hold the post of Construction Manager, becoming responsible for all aspects of construction operations. In 2002 John was recruited by Richmond American Homes to lead their new Utah Division. In his first four years as Division President, he led his Richmond team from just 127 to over 1200 homes per year. In his home building career he has either directly built, or managed the production of, nearly 10,000 homes along the Wasatch front.

Gary L. Woodbury | VP, Sales and Marketing

Gary Woodbury started his career with Kaufman and Broad Homes in Salt Lake City in Sales and was soon promoted to Sale Manager.  Gary also has worked as Director of Sales and Marketing and Broker at “The Parc at the Gateway,” a high-rise condominium building, and in the same capacity for the America Ski Company focusing on resort real estate. Most recently Gary was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Richmond American Homes. Gary was twice named “National Sales Manager of the Year” and “Utah Homebuilder Association Sales Leader of the Year” during his time at RAH.  He graduated from Lewis & Clark State College with a degree in Business Administration.

Colin H. Wright | CEO

Colin Wright is a partner with Strategic Capital Partners, a local real estate private equity company.  Prior to joining Strategic Capital Partners, Colin spent  five years engaged in management positions at Ivory Homes.  Colin oversaw the dawn of the new Southern Utah Area of that company and functioned as the Area Manager.  Prior to that Colin was focused on land acquisition and entitlement for the same company.  Colin is an adjunct professor at the University of Utah where he teaches Real Estate Finance and Real Estate Development, both upper division business courses.  Colin has a BS in Finance from the University of Utah and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.

Maxwell Hunter | CFO

Maxwell Hunter began his professional career serving in the U.S. Air Force as a mechanical engineer.  Following his nine years of service Maxwell separated from the armed forces with the rank of Captain and entered commercial real estate as a financial analyst and project manager for Colorado & Santa Fe Real Estate in Denver, CO.  Here Maxwell focused primarily on opportunistic/distressed acquisitions and market analysis.  Most recently Maxwell was an Assistant Vice President in the commercial real estate division of US Bank, managing a mixed portfolio of large real estate loans with the State’s premier CRE clients.  Maxwell has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Utah.

Tyler Meyers | Division President, Henry Walker Homes South

Tyler Meyers is the Division President for Henry Walker Homes South. Tyler will manage all aspects of the home building operation in Southern Utah. Tyler started his career with Pulte homes in Denver, Colorado. In 2004 he was recognized as Pulte’s top producing Sales Consultant. Tyler joined Ivory Homes in it’s Northern operations in 2005, witnessing the unprecedented growth of the Salt Lake Valley. In 2007 Tyler become the Area Manager for Ivory Homes Southern Utah Division, overseeing Ivory’s home building operations in St. George. Tyler is a graduate of the BYU Marriott School of management and lives in St. George with his wife Amber and their three children.
